It's a weird time at the moment. I came to Lancaster 2 years ago to take my MA. I'll be finished in two months. I worked out I have 52 days till my dissertation deadline. I can't believe how quickly it's gone...but so much has happened, and I've met so many great people here. Considering the difference in size between this tiny place and Birmingham, I think I've met more people I really connected with here in 2 years than I did after 8 in Birmingham.
So I have 2 months to nail 25,000 words on the archangle Metatron and the epistemological role he typifies in ancient Judaism. Then I'm off to Israel to do some WWOOFing for three months. That's going to be hard work - but it'll be worth it (I hope!). I'm looking forward to some time out from studying, being able to see some historic sights while I'm not working and maybe come to understand a little more about the political situation over there. I've still got that line from Bruno ringing in my ears, "Why do you hate Hamas? I think the real enemy is pitta bread..."
I'm also looking forward to meeting some nice people here...it seems like a good community from what I've seen of it

Yes, it's hard work...but it's what I live for. I'd rather be doing this than anything else
