Hello my doves.
Apologies for disappearing like that. Life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately.
Since we've last spoken (read? typed? communicated.) I've carved a small spot for myself in the the theatrical community down here, discovered working at a Cabaret Bar on Bourbon isn't for me, made some wonderful new friends, fallen behind in my school work, had a few awesome photoshoot/photographer connections, caught back up in my school work, and met the most amazing guy.
I'm finally feeling like I'm a hundred percent settled in here, and there's not a day that goes by when I don't walk outside and think about how happy I am to be living in such a beautiful place.
I'm beginning to realize my worth and talent as an actress, and that's exactly what I came here to do, so that's really lovely. I also realize how much I love modeling every time I poke around on this site or modelmayhem or do a shoot. Pictures are so beautiful and I love their simultaneous celebration of the outside world and the human form.
I will put up a new album soon with the latest pics, so keep your eyes out for that.
As for the guy I met - let's just say he's very quiet (which is SUPER different for me) and a huge nerd (which is par for the course for me) and has a dog that loves him very much. All good things. I've got a good feeling about this one, kids. It's something in the eyes. The boy is some kind of wonderful.
I'm headed to the Mississippi area next month to collaborate on a few projects and possibly shoot a Hopefuls Set, so I'll keep everyone posted and let y'all know how that goes!
