work was quiet again. i hate that my work is seasonal. if its raining or colder, its dead quiet. if its hot or there is some special occaison coming, its hell busy.
today i did some interesting things tho. i did a racing stripe down the back of a maltese. readers of my journal for a while might remember a puppy called boof. he has had a few different things (like a blue tail and ears) but they wanted the racing stripe again. i did it better this time.

i love colouring.
i found an old pic of ferris from 2 years ago. we entered the rspca walk and we dressed up in a theme (which was spring time), it was pretty daggy but heaps of fun. ferris was a frog and i was a water lilly.

yeah he was dyed green.
altho i dont think he knows he is coloured, he sure likes the attention and extra pats he gets for being different to the other doggys.

the other interesting thing today was i clipped a bedlington terrier. they are kind of weird looking

this isnt the one i did. i didnt get a chance to take a photo but it was fun to do something more involved than a usual all off shih tzu or maltese. i like doing terriers, they have really awesome trims to be clipped into.
i have been doing alot more scissoring now. scissoring takes ages to get right, i still make mistakes but im getting better.
eventually i will be able to do things like this

its all very exciting.
it might sound silly but i like what i do. most of the time. if the dogs are good and stand still.

i had to tie it up to the light cos i think they are meant to be used on drop lights, but meh, its a bit off center but oh well.
