Why is it that educated(Master's Degree level) people cannot understand that a cold/blueish/swelling left arm is a sign of a blood clot??? (They've all had health issues recently, too)

My in-laws all thought that it would be okay for my sister-in-law to wait 2 days before addressing the issue (herself included)??

She told me today that she was fine - she put her arm in the oven last night to warm it up - she was okay. WTF?!?!?!

My wife and I told her to shut up and get in the car, she was going to the hospital.

Then a f-ing intern/resident tells everyone he thinks its some sort of disorder that is due to being in cool weather. Then he comes back and says he was told that he was wrong - that it was likely a blood clot and that she would be in the hospital for a few days!! F-ing moron!! (btw - I have had both of my step-father die in this hospital!)

Thankfully, at the moment, it sounds like she'll be okay.

OK rant over - f-ing people drive me crazy....

Thinking of places to go camping for the summer, still, and possible weekend hiking partners for something in North Jersey, or South Jersey (Batona Trail). Gotta escape the insanity of my life for a couple of days.
