Something to consider. 1-18-08
We all experience lulls in life where the time to think becomes an abundant commodity. As I lay here with a 102 fever reading the latest issue of Psychology Today I am forced into the recess of my mind, to the darkest places within the folds of tissue that comprise my ability to perceive I exist at all.
It's easy to get lost in the chaos within this space, it's easy to succumb to gross generalizations of our shortcomings based on these dark under rock hidden evolutionary legacies. However I feel it's important to look into the darkness unafraid of what stares us back because those glowing eyes are our own staring back at us. A dynamic person is one who trumpets their strengths but also acknowledges their flaws and shortcomings.
You can try to ignore them but they are a part of you and will eventually manifest themselves in your life. Being great isn't about walking around shouting how great you are, it's about doing great and acknowledging that sometimes your not that great at all and thats ok.

me however, I am not in pain all the time, but when i am in pain it is well beyond terrible.. they gave me meds for when i need them though and i can very thankfully say that i haven't had to use them yet. I feel a tid bit uncomfortable sometimes, but i think thats just my reminder to continue to be careful.
I don't eat out much anyways, but just the fact that I can't really go out every once in a while to eat some real good food (not fast food), kinda bothers me! i know pizzas not good for me (or anyone for that matter) but I can make my own with lowfat cheese, which i will admit i have never even seen before. I guess I will be learning how to cook my own healthy food? isn't that just terrible!?
so with every con, there sprouts a little bit of good! at least thats the way i will continue to think for now
take care of yourself.
