$1750 is what it's going to cost to get a new engine and all the bells and whistles..not actually a NEW engine, but newer to me than the one that's already in the car. has 30k fewer miles on it, so that's a plus. but my dad mentioned something about possibly trying to buy me a new car. so we'll see what happens tomorrow morning and potentially after that.
oh, and if i do get it fixed, it'll be the 3rd or the 4th before i can get it back. which means..all of my (tentative) plans with whosyourlibra for new year's would be completely shot to shit.
i never really knew how much my car meant to me until now. it sounds cliche, yes, but good god..i feel so helpless not being able to get around on my own. ugh.
