::Ring, Ring!!::
"Yes?"
"Uh, this is the bridal suite. Could you send up a couple'a caviar sandwiches and a beer?"
"What? Who is this?"
"Uh, this is the voice of doom calling. Your days are numbered!"
::click::
"Hello? Hello?"
"Oh, whatsa matta?"
"One of the servents has been at the sherry again. I guess I'd better go see..."
*sigh* I love James Stewart!
I always see the same white Celica on my way home from work in the morning. It's going southbound and I'm going northbound. I wonder if they notice me every morning as well...although I've given up expecting people to be as aware of their surroundings as I am...especially when they're driving...and that manages to scare me on a daily basis.
And then also on my way home this morning I saw four young cows. They were walking in a line towards somethere, but they were walking: white, black, white, black. It was interesting. I was wondering if sometimes animals do stuff like this on purpose, just to make silly humans wonder just that. I doubt it, but it's fun to wonder.
Was possibly going to see V for Vendetta with my sister tonight, and then hit up some bars, but it's raining out now (it wasn't supposed to start until tomorrow night! What the fuck!?) and I don't feel like walking around downtown in the rain. Maybe tonight is just a good night for Chinese delivery and some rentals from Insomniac maybe, curled up on my sister's couch...
Work this weekend has been a total bitch. I don't even want to get into it or else it will take hours to type out all my ranting and raving and probably a long time to read and I don't even bother to imagine that anyone will read all the bullshit anyway so i won't even bother. I already vented on my fiance via telephone this afternoon anyway...thank fuck he's so sweet and understanding...I couldn't deal with life without him...
I'm a volatile combinations of emotions today. Stay out of my way. Ggggrrrrr....
UPDATE:
Saw V for Vendetta last night with my sis and then went to Blue so I could get a sweet pea martini...yummy!
But the movie was spectacular! I laughed, I cried, I was impressed with the acting and the special effects and the fact that it wasn't a brainless comic-based action flick!
My sister and I were giggling because halfway through the movie I realized that the chancellor was the same man that played H.R. Haden in the movie Contact! John Hurt Even though he looks SO different! Just pay attention to the voice and imagine him saying, "Wanna take a ride...?"

Any time off is good time off!
I don't know if I've really deserved it but I stuck it out here for 5 years so I guess they owe me something.

So the countdown is on is it! enjoy your freedom while you've still got it. I can completely get you where your coming from with the job thing. Half the time I hate my job so much I think my head might just explode like that guy from Scanners. I totally agree with you about people being completely unaware of what's going on around them. Unless it's lit up in neon lights people just don't notice anything. I think apathy is a national passtime around here.
