Yesterday was pretty damn good, I went to the Baltimore Comic Convention with El Jonz, mainly to meet Matt Wagner[creator of Grendel, you know, that tattoo i have, yeah].
and i got this from him.
We then walked around and I got a few more sketches from>>
Erik Larsen
Terry Moore
Gabe from Penny Arcade
and Jimmy Palmiotti
I met this really gorgeous artist, Jennifer Rodgers and was, I think the proper word would be....smitten? enamored? enscorceled even...not to mention she's a fantastic artist and I bought a print from her.
I then got home, checked out her website, and found out she was married....well duh, of course she was...what was I thinking...geesh.
I also picked up an old ass copy of HP Lovecraft's Selected Letters...which i've been looking for, and an old copy of DreamQuest of Unknown Kadath...mmmmm
in more important and saddening news, my mom went in for surgery today, to get the cages and rods and all that done to her spine, so that she's not in constant pain from her vertebrae smashing her nerves.... It was from what i heard, going to take anywhere from 4-6 hours...I haven't heard anything from my uncle who's down there with her...so I assume everything is okay.

rhys:
thank you hon. you're spiffy yourself.
zeroxnine:
do you really print books? like big hardcover types? if so, what's that like? how long have you been doing it? would you recommend the work to others? five questions is enough. this interview is over.
