I got up this morning for work and opened the door to this.
So here is my story for the day.. Taking a look at my car and living on a dead end street at the top of a hill the snow plow never comes around. So that means I had to take the good old London Transit. So to get to the bus that takes me to my work.. (I couldnt call in and not go to work.. I work at a ski hill.) I have to cross over a train bridge to get over a river and cut across a park. So I start walking climbing over snow banks and trucking through snow thats up past my waist. I realize that unless I get my ass in gear I'm going to miss the bus.. So I start going as fast as I possibly can in 3 feet of snow. I get about half way through the park and I feel like I'm going to pass out.. I get the cold sweats going and its minus 8 out.. I start getting dizzy and everything is getting white.. and I still have about 10 minutes of walking. And there is no one around. So I finally make it to the street where I need to catch the bus and lie down and pass out on a snow bank. By this time I feel like I'm going to either faint and or vomit. So I would say about 10 minutes go by and this guy taps me on the shoulder and asks if I'm ok. Then he tells me because of the weather the buses weren't running for another 3 hours.
Sooo I had to walk back home.
And that was my day of almost dying in 3 feet of snow.. not a good time.. I miss the summer.
