Our landlord finally fixed our toilet. It had been broken for a very long time, and to tell you the truth I was kind of dissapointed to see it repaired. The water ran constantly and loudly, so that was kind of irritating, but it would also occasionally shoot water out the side of the septic tank, and that was hilarious. Not just a trickle mind you, a full-on gyser blasting water everywhere. *sigh* Oh well.
My printer was damaged in the move from Halifax to Ontario, so we have been without a printer for the last month. As a writer this is very irratating. I normally use a typewriter, but sometimes I do need to use a computer and I was having to email everything to Librarygirl at work so she could print it off for me and bring it home. The point of this story is that I spent the day today researching on the internet how to dismantle and repair Lexmark colour printer/scanners. The real miracle is that when all was said and done, my printer is printing again. Unfortunately...
I'm sure they weren't that important.
In other fascinating news we bought Pirates of the Caribbean: Battleship today. It was a tossup between that and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Game of Life, but since we don't really have anyone else to play with us, we opted for the battleship. Its a little more advanced than regular battleship, with 36 ships to choose from, each with their own special abilities and weaknesses.
That's all the excitement I have to report. Because I can only imagine how interested people would be to see it, here is my desk.
Enjoy.
1. The big gnome.
2. 440 ml of Yourshire's finest pub ale.
3. Trackerball. Mice are for suckers.
4. Regular Phone.
5. Space phone. It verbally tells me who is calling so that I know who I'm not answering.
6. Moniter. Nothing special here. Move on.
7. Perpetual Motion Hello Kitty. She never stops moving. Amazing.
8. A bunch of pills.
9. My camera. My PDA.
10. A bunch of little gnomes.
11. Keyboard. It lights up blue.
12. Major Kusanagi
13. Left to right: jelly hippo, lucky marble glass pig, 2 cherished teddies and a chinese wishing pot.
