Everything is going to be just awful when we're around.
All the colors gonna rot off your sight when we're around.
I am just a salesman pleased to meet you can I show you around.
Every thing must go the shadows the seagulls when we're around.

It's hard sometimes to listen to music or watch movies that had signifigance to an important relationship in your life. My ex has already ruined all of Hedwig and the Angry Inch for me, as well as Dashboard Confessional's "Hands Down" (say what you will, Dashboard was good then). Well, I refuse to let her ruin the memories and music and art in general that I have as much right to as she does. Tonight, I began forcing myself to listen to the Blood Brothers again, the greatest band in music today. So many memories of her are connected to them, including the time their guitarist tried to steal her from me (fuck it, she was psycho, he can have her). I'm starting with them, forcing myself to listen to them until I make new memories of their music that have nothing to do with her. From there, I'm moving on to Hedwig, then Donnie Darko. Eventually, I'll be free to enjoy all that I love again, without having to think about how much I miss her.
Well, what have I been up to? Friday night I went out and got majorly drunk with my friend Chris and a whole bunch of people from High School who I haven't seen too often lately. I miss my old friends. Also learned that I'm actually worse at Halo when drunk than I am when sober.
Tonight I went to see my friend's band play at an open mic. It was really experimental stuff, and my friend did pretty well, but his bandmate seemed like he wasn't entirely in control of everything, and that sort of showed in the performance. Still,l my friend was awesome, and, in this musical world, there needs to be more experimentation!
Anyway, that's all for now. Adios.
