I developed a new evil character in my novel today while at work. I find it very interesting that many of my creative ideas come while driving to and from work.

I also developed a race of creatures while staring at an echocardiogram last summer.


I think I am going to go to bed early tonight. I have to go up to a university nearby in the morning and help judge a strategic management competition for 3 hours. The students work in teams and present a strategy for an ailing company. The students dress up to the hilt and we (the judges) grill them on every single thing we can. We're piranhas. It is designed to toughen the students' skin for the 'real world' of capitalism. I was a happy victim of this 4 years ago.
