I suppose I'll introduce myself since there is a 0.0000125% chance at least one person may come across this page.
I'm new to SG. I was reading a magazine while waiting for my hair stylist to finish the client before me. There was a woman in it talking about SG. I checked it out, and I liked what I saw. Sure nude photos are nice, but those you can find anyplace. What really caught my attention was the creativity, confidence, and composure (3 C's; hurray for aliteration )
I'm a very creative and ambitious person. I'm 24, almost 25. I have to bachelor degrees (Management and International Business), and a master's degree (International Business Management). During my undergrad, I ran an online retail business, selling swords, knives, and daggers as my main product lines, but then found I was a decent painter and sculpter of miniature soldiers and terrain. I made some good coin, but knew I wanted more. So I did enter the work force as an intern, then working full-time while working on my master's degree full-time. I was very fortunate the company allowed me to come to work early and work late to compensate for the 8 hours a week I was in class during the day.
My profession is an economic analyst, which means I monitor the economies around the globe as well as world stock markets. I know the psychology behind making money on the markets. I work mostly with people twice my age, married, and well...not extracuricular, which means I go out with friends every once in awhile, but if friends aren't available, I go out alone and try to find fun. It's not always easy, but I refuse to sit around and sulk because no friends are available to go out. I love meeting new people and learning about them.
I've been to Europe twice. I lived in England for six months in 2001. I traveled to Germany, Austria, Hungary, Ukraine (Loved Ukraine), Italy, and then to England in spring of 2005.
I love languages, speaking English, and Spanish with Mandarin and Japanese lessons on and off.
I have an enormous passion for cooking. I make most of my food from scratch - preferring to be create and let my mind free.
I am martial arts student. When I was 12, I started kenpo karate and attained advanced status after a few years of classes. I stopped when I hit my college years. I recently took up a new form and thus am starting from scratch. I love the challenge and again - the process of learning new things.
What makes me happy is doing anything creative. But I want to go that extra mile - I want to share what makes me happy with someone who also finds creativity to make her happy.
Oh another thing, I have a 700 page novel that I've been writing for several years. I can't finish it. I am sure it is large enough to be 2 or 3 books. It's a medieval / gothic / fantasy about a prince who learns who he really is. It has Armageddon, Heaven, Hell, Angels, and Demons in it as well. It confronts through innuendo many religious formats of our day as well as pokes fun at societal issues we all deal with. It is also as historically accurate as I can make it. There's scandal, murder, assasination, rape, and lots of betrayal. A lot of the novel is a translation of my own life. But take that contextually. I most certainly didn't murder, assassinate, rape, or cause malice harm on anyone in my life.
So that's me.
