Biggish news, I've started looking for my own place in Amsterdam And not something to rent, but something to buy!
Here's the story though, for a while now I've been living at my dad's place. My mom is sadly not here anymore, and I moved back when things got bad, to help out around the house. I was lucky to find a job in Amsterdam so that I could stay there and not leave my dad alone again (he's getting a bit old ).
Anyways, since then things have been improving, my sister also lives in Amsterdam and now that we've all got jobs (dad's been retired for ages), we're thinking of selling the house and looking for one big place in Amsterdam.
Basically the idea is to buy something with 3 or 4 floors, my dad on ground level with a separate front door, and my sis and I on the higher floors (also a front door and shared staircase). The idea is that
A good friend of my sister is a real estate agent, she's going to look for places for us.
I'm pretty psyched, hopefully we can find something like this, there are plenty of houses in Amsterdam with a layout like that.

Also, friday I got a job evaluation meeting... I'm going to assume I get to at least keep the job, but yeah.. the current economic situation has made me a bit nervous

Hope everybody is doing well! I'm working this week on one of the tightest deadlines I've worked on so far... been working till 10 or 11 pm for 3 days now, including past Sunday...
So I will hopefully be able to write to you again this weekend. I've also been shooting pictures, but not from myself :p Actually, the stress is not doing me much good at the moment.

Got some music tips last week, mainly from the label Ninja Tune.. do you know it?
Love these artists: Fink, Patrick Watson and Bonobo.. they've been getting a lot of airtime on our office music computer

I hate to mention the word lounge.. but I guess you could call it that. I prefer electro-jazz I love the little organ that kicks in after at 1:40
