Just FYI if you have to fly anywhere any time soon DON"T
I have to travel with my meds since my MS syringes have to stay cold I had to call TSA (travel security asociation) wait on hold for aprox. 30 minutes to find out I have to have a doctor's note stating what the medications are, what they are for and how they need to be handled. I travel with a cooler and gel ice packs. TSA told me that in order to keep the gel ice packs it has to state in the letter that the medication needs it, otherwise they throw the gel packs in the trash. I can travel with my pills but they have to be in the original container and the name has to match the boarding pass. I will not have to be specially screened I just have to have the note.
What happened to patient privacy. It's not cool that now every security agent or airport official that checks me out will know that I have MS and exactly what medications I am on for MS and otherwise.
WOW I feel a lot safer knowing this is all for nothing. It's just the illusion of safety.
What do you guys think about this????

I think that's awful! There are a million other ways that people could bring bombs and stuff into a plane. Maybe you'll start having to put your ice packs and meds in your 'intestinal tract' to avert the security people.
