1. How was your Thanksgiving and what are you thankful for?
I mean, I'm in Canada, so my Thanksgiving was waaaay back in October! It was good, went to a friends place and played with their two year old son while the adults did adult things. It was a good time! I'm thankful that I'm still here. Dealing with the Big Sad most of my life and I'm so glad that I managed to hold out until now!
2. Who's putting up a Christmas tree 🎄?
Mine is up already. It's always such a pain but I do it anyways because it was mine & my Mother's favorite thing to do together when she was alive, so I've been keeping that tradition going for the last 10 years.
3. Do you have any family tradition for Thanksgiving and Christmas?
Every Christmas my Mother and I always made her special Oatmeal Butterscotch cookies at Christmas time. 10 years later, I'm still baking away at Christmas, now I just use the industrial sized ovens at my side job and make mass amounts of them to give away as gifts :)
4. Your best advice?
I don't know, live your best life? Do what makes you happy.
5. Do you have any holiday charities you donate to?
Not really, unfortunately.
6. Your favorite Christmas song?
LITERALLY NONE
7. Your best Christmas present, your choices given or received?
I remember a few years ago I surprised my younger brother with a new Xbox One. The look on his face was priceless :)
8. Do you have your Christmas shopping done?
I feel like this question for me should be "Do you have your Christmas BAKING done?" To which that answer is no LOL
9. Fun question something you enjoy during the Holidays?
Not having to go to work.
10. Do you have plans for New Years eve?
GET FUCKED UUUUUUP, probably :P
11. Your goals for the new year 2024?
One goal is to finally take my Driver's Test(stupid test anxiety!)
My top goal is to finally go Pink! It's been a HUGE dream of mine to be an SG for as long as I can remember, and I have a few more sets coming out in the new year that I have really good feelings about!!
12. Your New Years resolution?
Keep up with my daily workouts, I'm hoping to get back into practicing BJJ(Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) again! I had to stop because I was in school, but now that I'm done I am itching to get back into it! Doing the warmups I used to do during classes will help me not die once I get back into it!
13. Your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy playing video games, streaming on here with all of you, crafting my Tiny houses(thanks for nudging me back into it, @kalnaur) and Singing! I noticed I haven't been singing and streaming as much lately, and doing that again has cheered me up quite a bit
14. Do you do Christmas cards?
Not usually, but I try to send one to my aunt!
15. Share anything you want from your past holiday's?
One good and one bad!
Good - Waking up next to my partner the last few years has really been nice. They've restored the warmth that was lost during the holidays after both my parents passed.
Bad - Holidays were always really hard for me after my parents died. Especially my mother. She was the one who made Christmas for me magical, losing her just made the holidays feel like any other day. I miss her every day.
