I went to a good party on the weekend out on the Sunshine Coast. The party was called Faeries and Fools. It was actually better last year when they had more elven performances, but this year was good too. It rained a lot and was cold, but I got to cuddle in a tent with my girlfriend to keep warm, so that was nice.

What does it mean when your girlfriend says that being with me is too intense, that she's not sure she can handle a monogamous relationship with me, and that she feels things are easier when she only has herself to take care of and think about?

Does this mean she's going to break up with me? That's what I'm figuring is the case, but I really don't want that. my logic can easily agree with her on many of her examples, but my intuition and heart says to hold on to this relationship and try to find what the cause of uncertaintly in things is and create some solutions to remedy the situation.

However, I'm not quite sure just yet what all the causes are. I think one cause is that we have a physical distance between each other and that we can only see each other on weekends if she wants to sacrifice her only time off to spend with me. I think she maybe feels pressured in having to come see me on her time off. I don't want her to feel pressured, but it would make me happy if she just enjoyed coming to see me and spend that time with me. Hmmmmm...... well this one can't really be helped until August, because that is when her job on the remote island ends and she will have free time to spend as she pleases then. For that time, I can wait, but I feel like if she cuts things off early then our relationship may disolve to be nothing significant by that time.
