Hi babes, yesterday I watched a movie in the middle of the night because my best friend almost forced me to, he insisted sooo much that it aroused my curiosity. This movie came to light a few days ago and has the name "Okja", that's it, just Okja.
I didn't get anything at first (super pigs? Wtf?!). But later, references to "My Neighbor Totoro", "Chihiro", "Princess Mononoke" among other Ghibli films began to emerge from EVERYWHERE, I just got stuck to the screen until the movie was over.
It shows the purest love between a child and its super pig, (does it remind you of any movies?) It is extremely lovely and exciting, as well as bringing criticism to the consumption of meat, warts and all. It's shocking but without losing the magic, as it should be.
