I saw a picture of the shooter in the Moscow, Idaho incident from a week or two ago. I am still stunned over it. Moscow is small enough that at some point I probably saw him at a bar, the grocery store, or just around town. The entire time I lived there I never locked my door. I walked home at 2 in the morning without worrying about something bad happening. Sure, bad things happened there but not once did it ever seem as pointless as a man just taking out whomever he could for reasons no one has yet discovered. I still considered Moscow home. It is the best, most comfortable place I have ever lived. My heart goes out to everyone there that is confused and stunned by all of this.
