Been reading a lot this weekend, I'm taking a little break from standard literature, currently burning my way through A Drifting Life by Yoshihiro Tatsumi, I've read quite a few mangas before but it's the first time I've read something of his and in this length & style. I really like it and I'm definitely going to be picking up his other work.
I had been told off recently by friends for never having properly sat down and watched any of the classic black and white films of the past. So recently I've been putting some on my rental lists and watching them. Last night I watched The Philadelphia Story starring Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn;
They've been good so far, although watching these movies I am always amazed when I remind myself that movies of this quality were being produced over 70 years ago! I'm am so far i've watched A wonderful Life, Bringing up baby & The Apartment. I'm always open to suggestions for want other the B&W classics that are considered must watched, Does anybody have any?
