So as usual, I'm running on 3 and a half hours of sleep.
Last night I was recording a hip hop artist from Chicago at the school;s studio till about 9pm, then decided since I had the studio till 2:40am, I was gonna use that time. So me and another student decided to record a cover of Hurt by NIN. I played piano and sung, he did guitar and backup vocals. We want to add a very subtle floor tom during the chorus then the song will be finished and ready for editing and mixing. It sounds so fucking awesome. I wish I owned Pro Tools because I would be working on it right now. I'd probably get less sleep though if I owned the software.
I'll put it to a video and throw it on the youtubes when it's done. You guys are serisously gonna love it. I'm so excited!
Today was a pretty good day for me. I was in a good mood the whole day except for the occasional feelings of nervousness. But that was only because I'm so low on sleep.
Some other good news is my tattoo artist sent me an email that since I'm so low on funds and he really wants to finish my sleeve to add it to his portfolio that he will cut me a deal. I pay $200 for as long as I can sit and have him work. Hopefully my sleeve will be finished by the next time I'm naked for your enjoyment (October). I have to share this, as I typed October, I accidently wrote "Octoboner." How's that for a Fruedian slip for you?
