In other news Alex and I have an anniversary coming up on the 6th. we've been together 4 years. On that day we will be......
attending a family reunion?
Yup. Alex's side of the family. We'll be at a park somewhere in Black Earth. I'm looking forward to it. It will be the first time I've met a lot of people and the only time i will before the wedding in November.
On a completely unrelated subject...
who else is completely outraged at the world?
well, not the world.... just the GOPies. Republicans, conservatives, right- wingers, whatever you want to call them.
I'm just so frustrated that they can't look past their views and realize, "hey, gay marriage is a civil rights and human rights issue and we are being unconstitutional by banning marriage and unions."
And the DR. who was shot for performing late term abortions.
What is with the right wanting to limit rights?
The point they're missing is that even if abortion does become illegal, there will still be abortion. As long as people are rich and wanting an abortion, it will always be around.
Now i personally would never get an abortion however i do respect a woman's right to do so. I do think there needs to be some kind of regulation. For example, I think it should be allowed in cases of rape, incest, etc. Or if the mother cannot survive childbirth for whatever reason. But if the mother was at a party and was careless then she needs to live with the consequences. And there is always adoption.
Bottom line, we need to prevent the abortions beforehand, not murder someone who was trying to help women.
