ok so this dumbass kid my fiance works with is claiming that he bought his girlfriend a Coach (he said it was a duffel. those are around 600 bucks), Dooney and Bourke (never buy those, trust me, the leather cracks and it is really low quality) a Louis Vutton, Gucci (he pronounced it Juicy), a Prada, a Chanel and some other stuff. I'm like sure. First of all he works at McDonald's. Second of all he hasnt been working long enough to save up that much money. and thirdly you can't buy half of that anywhere near where we live. In fact you can get maybe 3 of those brands. The rest you'd have to go to Chicago (2 hours away) at the closest. I asked him if all of it was real and he said it was, yet he wouldnt let me look at any of it. He prolly got ripped off pretty bad cause none of it would be worth more than 20 bucks if it wasnt real. And i seriously doubt that he had spent 5 thousand minimum.
So i figured I'd give u guys a real quick lesson on how to tell if its a real designer handbag or a fake (or as they like to call em "replica")

Real


on the inside of real handbags, there is a logo set in leather. It'll talk about when the line was founded. Like so.


Now for the fake


looks real right? however no logo, just blank leather

the bag will also have flaws such as the zipper extending out of the bag. Designer bags dont have that. They have is sewn to the bag or have a fly away zipper.

also on this fake there are loose threads and seams in strange spots like halfway up one of the handles. I couldnt take a good pic of that though.

The Coach (the real one) is priced at 78 bucks for a wristlet. A Coach the size of the fake would be around 350 to 498 depending on if it is leather or not.
