hi @missy && @rambo ..i'm sorry i suck at doing my homeworks. i've never been good at it in school either; but my test scores reflect that i really do pay attention&&participate in class!!!!
anyway, 5 reaons to be SG
- genuineness: these fans&&followers see every little bit&&piece of you. &&a lot of them leave the most genuine compliments -not just about the models' physical traits, but also sincere displays of care for the models' wellbeing. &&you know these are sincere displays of care because sometimes these models&&their fans live on complete opposites of the WORLD.
- makes a normal person feel special: for some of the models, me for examples, lead very simple, plain lives. for people to show such interest&&love for us&&our art makes us feel greater than the world. one may say, "but your friende, family, significant other should be the ones who make you feel greater than the world". indeed that's true, but for someone who suffers from a lot of self esteem problems, i tend to feel that the compliments from people close to me are "have to"s. they HAVE TO say it because they NEED to show their affection. so a genuine compliment or show of care from a stranger lights up hope in my day.
- friends: after joining SG, i have met so many wonderful people, models&&fans alike. i feel so blessed to have such caring people surrounding me; whether they are 10miles away or thousands, i know that they will always be there for me when i really need someone!
- confidence: my confidence in myself has spiked. i'm still not 100% comfortable in my own skin (but that's years of verbal abuse). but compared to who i was four years ago, the me now carries my head much higher&&i'm more assertive in what i like&&don't like.
- a hobby: everyone needs a hobby to help destress after a full time job. the SG community offers a loving, caring, supportive environment to run away from the responsibilities of being an adult
