Yay!!! No work today. I worked 2 parties this weekend (catering) and last nite I got to see Ozomatli!! So I'm not really complaining. They rocked the house. It was the Yahoo holiday party and it was fucking huuuuuge! I was totally psyched when I heard the sound check, because I really wanted to see this band Sunday nite at the Fillmore. If you don't know them, it's latin funk, a lil hip-hop... check it out! I downloaded a bunch of their stuff a while back and I really like it. Not so much the hip-hop tracks, but delete is easy enough.
I was planning on burning a CD for my little nephew because he loves dance music and I'm hoping this might inspire him to learn some Spanish. His dad is Puerto Rican but Mateo doesn't like it when his dad reads Spanish to him. He wants his mommy to read it. Ha. Anyway, this kid is totally a rock star. They go to this family music class which is really cool (when except when you have to listen to some of their practice music over, and over). Mateo can't play his guitar yet but he definitely his some moves down. I wish I was there when he was yelling at my grandma to get up and dance!
What else is up. Tonite some of my friends in this dance company Kunst-stoff are having a performance which should be really cool. I hope some SG peeps come out. It is a really cool modern dance company and they use some rad music and special effects. I'm thinking there might be an end of show party afterwards. Hope so since i worked all weekend. I just found out my shoot for next Sunday is definitely on. Sweeeet!!! I've been trying to this for a long time. So, gotta send a couple emails and then check out the lighting downstairs and waste some time in the hot-tub. Have a fun day folks.

blah! Tahts so unfair.. your family sounds totally cooler then mine. In irish families.. we do excitin things like "go to church" for fun.. or "peel potatoes" or the men "drink beer" while the women "do the dishes".. sometimes its ok to do irish step dancing.. but that shit is hard work and not fun. There isnt a family music lesson. Theres no time with all the church.. haha.. man, my family is boring.
