it's been 4 days now since my knee surgery. i'm back in sf at my friend scott's place. this place is quite interesting and definitely warrants a little description. it kinda has this feel of that place where they lived in fight club, except nowhere near as big (we are in sf). scott's buddy used to have underground parties here and after it was shut down they rented part of it out to this dude who sells motorcycle parts online. so part of the space is for that, part for scott's business, scott's bedrood somewhere in the back, kitchen, and sofa/coffee table area for me and my bong. the bathroom is pretty interesting too... the floor is all painted bright red and there are commercial type urinals and when i go the red from the floor makes it look like i'm pissing a bit red.
so the knee is still balloon like because i didn't really ice it as much as i was supposed to and i was all over the place on the crutches the first couple days. people don't understand tho that i really haven't had much choice. i had to move into my friend's place the night before my surgery and i really need to go down to stanford for the conference on gluten intolerance. i would have gotten more out of it i wasn't on codeine but it was still great for me. i bought a couple good books... 1 cookbook and 1 book about eating out which is really great. they go over the 7 most common restaurant cuisines, and what dishes to watch out for, questions to ask, etc. in case you are wondering the seven most popular cuisines are indian, thai, french, mexican, chinese, american steakhouse, and shit can't remember the last one. Anyway I think it will help a lot. I thought that I'd gotten the hang of avoiding gluten at restaurants but recently got sick a couple places.
even tho i've been all gimpy i'm bad about updating this. i dunno does anyone procrastinate journal entries. i guess it's because there aren't enough people i've connected with on here. well, there's always naked girls... see ya.
