so i just got back from my first client from this company "girl on the go.com" it's a company that comes out to people who are losing or have lost their hair due to cancer or disease and they custom make wigs for them. it's the only one in the country that does these at home wig consultations and then they have a stylist or the clients stylist can come over and cut and fit the wig to them... well let me just say i shaved her head and fitted her wig and told her how to style it and prep it and then cut the wig so like she looked like she did before she started chemo ...the woman was 34...2 kids and a husband...has cancer... it was the most emotional thing i had ever done in my life...i haven't stopped crying since i got in the car and left her house. it was the ultimate experience of helping someone out... she had her whole family there and friends and it was just something i never thought i could help in....but it was amazing... and i just can't imagine what it would be like to be in her shoes... she is a very brave woman...
i'm sending her a card of good wishes tomorrow.
what an experience....

so i am now the MA stylist... so i will travel ANYWHERE in MA for this... i will have to build a thicker skin for this...
