So I've been DJing for a little less than a year, on and off. It's been something I've wanted to do since 2000 in high school. Lacking the maturity to DO WORK SON (tm) I gave it up until last year, when one of my very good friends Mel took me under his wing and showed me the ropes, which culminated spinning at Fanime this year in May.
Tangent: Fanime is always a lists of first for me, DJing, doing stand-up comedy, losing my virginity.
I haven't done notably much in the realm of DJing since Fanime, but I'm really trying to step my game up, just have a couple of mixes here and there, maybe do a party or two, I definitely don't have aspirations to being the next A-Trak or Qbert.
Anyway, I just want to say that I'm constructing a mix that only teenage girls from the 70's, 80's and 90's would appreciate. Turning in my man card soon. But it is too hilarious not to ignore.
The jumping off track was The Cardigans - Lovefool, just so you know.
