still feeling like I'm pissing in the wind by writing about stuff no one here seems to care about, but...
I got a significant grant for my documentary that's both a feather in my cap and the means to get to the next stage. So I'm working for myself more and more which takes getting used to. I'm hiring someone who I'm probably going to end up paying more than myself, but it's a welcome change to be working full-time on this project I've put so much into.
Going on an overdue vacation for a week, checking out fall foliage and crafts fairs upstate with Woman. It's hard for me to break away from my chaotic workflow, but it seems essential for our holistic health.
At this moment I'm essentially procrastinating -- I've been stripping this shelf I found with 5 layers of paint on it. I haven't done this before and it's a big grueling job I really need to finish today. It's sitting in our downstairs neighbor's backyard and it could rain while we're gone so...
anybody out there?
