Happy Saturday All!
Hope everyone's enjoying themselves. Just chillin' at my radio station spinning some cool tunes. My wife and I are going to see a performance of MacBeth at the Folger Theatre in DC tomorrow night. Can you believe that there is sleet in the weather forecast for tomorrow??? WTF???!!!
This will be one of the last times we will go out for awhile. My wife's back surgery is scheduled for Tuesday May 20th. It's a two stage process...first surgery is Tuesday morning, part two is on Thursday. She will probably be in the hospital for 4-5 days. Recovery time is approximately 4-6 weeks. Full recovery is about 9-12 months. It sucks, but this will definitely improve my wife's quality of life, which, as far as I'm concerned, is all that matters.
And finally, on a more important note...I want to get my wife a gift after her surgery. Something nice to make her feel good, and definitely to cheer her up. She's already told me no more Coach bags. I was thinking a nice piece of jewelry instead. Ladies, I'll am trolling for assistance! You help would be greatly appreciated. Already assume that I will get her more flowers than what she knows what to do with. After that, any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Take care all!
