OK...I believe I have hit an all new lame-ass low. I've been back at the gym on a regular basis for a little over a month...started a new lifting program, trying to build myself up a bit and just get into better shape. I think along those lines, I've done ok so far.
So, I'm at the gym Monday morning, getting onto the lying leg curl machine, and I may have cracked a rib lying on the bench. I slid onto it a little awkwardly and caught the edge of the bench, just to the rigth of my sternum. Ever since, certain movements, and even breathing at times, has been a chore. I'm going to the doctor on Monday to get checked out. I suck!
On a more positive note..I'm going to do some slow cooker pork BBQ tomorrow, and I am also going to try doing my own Fish n' chips. I watched them do it on America's Test Kitchen, and I want to give it a shot myself. My wife isn't about to argue with that either.
It won't even come close to what I've sampled on trips to the UK, but I'm hoping for success!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far!
I do wonder if I'm approaching 44 or 84 every now and then...Oh well. Seeya!

badangela:
It is amazing how easy you can damage your body. Pork BBQ sounds good and home made fish and chips is always good.

marvel:
Do take care of your ribs... ouch! That sounds painful.
