My wife just received her surgery date. Friday March 2nd. She is going to have a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. Once again, if the margins are good, my wife will not have to have any radiation or chemotherapy. She seems to think, given her family history, not to mention the fact that there is a tricky spot near her chest wall, that she will have to go through a short run of chemotherapy. I'm hoping that it can be avoided, but we will do what we have to do to get it all over and done with. She will have to spend at least one night in the hospital, and then go home with drains. She will probably be at home for a couple of weeks before she is able to go back to work safely. I will pick up some of the financial slack and work some extra hours at both of my jobs to keep her from thinking about all of it way too much.
That's the latest...I will continue to provide updates as I am able. Thanks again for all of the kind words, Kathy and I really appreciate it. Take care all! Rich

Congrats on the station reformatting and keeping your job afterwards -- around here they're famous for emptying the ranks when they do a format change. I'll take a listen the next time I get bored with sirius. It's one of my preprogrammed channels, if I recall correctly.
I hope she is doing well. I will be thinking of her on Friday.
