The latest on my wife Kathy is her next surgery is scheduled for Jan. 23. AFter that, we will get the pathology back from the Doctor on Feb 1. HOPEFULLY...this will be the last surgery she will need, and if all goes well, she will begin her six weeks of radiation shortly afterwards. This hasn't been the easiest way to end last year or begin the new year...but the sooner we can get through this, the better. I am a little worried about my wife though...I have been watching her very closely, and occasionally when she let's her guard down, I can see how much this stuff is eating away at her. She looks very tired. I have been throught this kind of stuff before...losing my younger brother, my mom's breast cancer, and the various health problem that have plagued my dad over the last ten years, but this has been harder than all of them by far.
Anyway...sorry to be a drag...too much time to think tonight at work...classic rock...what can I say. We play way too much Floyd, Zeppelin, and Rolling Stones. Maybe I need a more upbeat part time gig...LOL!
Hope everybody else has a great weekend!
