It's 11:36 pm and I just got done eating dinner!! 
Oftentimes we eat late, but rarely this late. Byron made his famous spaghetti with the Gardenburger-brand meatballs, but he got a bit of a late start. Plus we were low on spaghetti, so he made it with half spaghetti and half lasagna noodles... No, we don't do anything routine in this household! It was still good though; as these kids today say, it's all good... 
Highlights for me today were going down to the travel agency and picking up our tickets, and getting my autographed copy of The Tribal Bible in the mail. Yee-ha, this is one great book! It's the long-awaited updated version of the classic book on American Tribal Style bellydance. Just paging through it is making me drool...
Speaking of bellydance, Hel has a new thread on the boards encouraging us all to make a little video to post. Byron has one of those little Intel video cameras, and he's promised to shoot me dancing; probably not til this weekend, though, as he says he needs plenty of light so it would have to be done in the daytime. Good, that'll give me time to practice!! Anything for Hel...

Maybe my bf and I shouldn't have paid the extra $60 each to insure 2 week delivery, as we are a mere 5 weeks away... I didn't want to, but what if we were to be in the 1 percentile (or whatever) to receive it after 5 or 6 weeks, and not within 3 or 4? It's a gamble and works more like an insurance. I suspected it would be 3 weeks, actually...but maybe it was that for you and wouldn't have been for us or others. I used the pen on a chain the woman who was helping us had at her desk as a divinatory pendulum, and it said we would have gotten ours in time without paying extra. The woman remarked that the fan was on, but it wasn't blowing in the 'pen-dulum''s path...
My bf said it might also take more time now because they may do a background check on you to make sure you're you and not a deceased person, etc., though I don't think they'd waste their time, but maybe they would post 9-11. What do you think?
