Wow. I must learn not to post when hormone supplies are depleted and skin is thin. I'm not going anywhere, folks. Looks like you're stuck with me for the duration.
OK, let's get back to the important stuff. New week, new Tarot deck. This week we're using the Deva Tarot - very cool deck (and very, very hard to shuffle - the cards are large and thick, and it has five suits instead of four; the fifth one is the Triax, the spirit and higher self/soul). And the card for today is:
The Fool (reversed)! "The figure dances through a gate formed by two triax. This person is heedless of any chance of danger or of the fact that a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. Inverted: In the unaware state and the heedlessness of following this path, be very careful because there is a lesson that you did not learn well, and it is about to trip you. This can cause problems."
Yup, I'd say the lesson has been learned...
We went shopping at Ross yesterday and got me a suitcase on wheels, since my trusty red Kipling bag finally busted a zipper during the Amsterdam trip. Also a new bra - black satin, woo-hoo... Well, I needed a new one, and the only black one in my size was satin. I gotta admit, it's pretty sexy. Ross is a pretty neat place; I hadn't been there before. Halfway decent stuff at good prices. We got Marvin some food bowls too. And it RAINED!!!! It's supposed to rain today and tomorrow and probably Wednesday too. It's glorious...
Friday night we're going to see Ravi Shankar!! He's not actually playing with the Oregon Symphony, but it's being put on under the symphony auspices. We watched his performance in Monterey Pop the other night, just to remind ourselves how great he is. I can't wait! Then the next morning we get up, get on the bus and head to the airport. Then on the 19th when we get back, we have 3 hours to get ourselves checked in, get home and then get over to Cinema 21 for Bubba Ho-Tep and BRUCE!!!!
I have some proofreading for TBP that I need to get done before we leave, so I think I'm gonna go do that. I apologize again to everyone for the way I acted yesterday. If this kind of thing keeps up, I think I may need to get some professional help. Have a good week, everyone!
