New week, new tarot deck! This week we'll be using my favorite deck, Tarot of the Cat People. And today's card is:
Eight of Cups. "A man turns away from his clutter of cups that are empty and in disarray. He has tried many things, all of which have failed. He looks back at the one cup that remains upright, and wonders should he try once again? His companion cat, in the manner of its kind, does not look back. It moves toward the light, hopefully to better things. Divinatory Meanings: Discontinuance of effort. Disappointment. Abandonment of previous plans. Shyness. Modesty. Abandoned success."
Well, that's pretty interesting. I've been having doubts about whether I should continue with school. I've done well but I'm not sure where it's going to lead. I think, however, that like the cat, I will not look back and instead look to the future.
I got Julia's CD done, so will be getting ahold of her to meet up again. I also need to get my latest Half.com sale ready to go, call about getting my oil changed this week, run to the store, and finish my playlists for Friday. At least I don't feel in a big fat rush to get things done anymore. At least not until fall...
Hey, just found out that Kate Bornstein is coming to Portland in November! W00t! She rocks. Take Kate's Gender Aptitude Test, won't you?
Fun Pye hair fact: After I wash my hair and put in the hair gel, if I just leave it, don't comb it out, let it dry naturally, and THEN comb it out - I've got Bride of Frankenstein hair.

Holy cow! I only scored a 75! If I didn't have a full beard right now I'm afraid that John Ashcroft might come by to repossess my penis! Great pointer, Pye, as per usual.
