Well! I have a 3-4 minute introductory speech about myself to come up with by tomorrow; we're supposed to use at least 3 objects that represent who we are, kind of a show & tell type of thing. I plan on bringing one of my bellydance LP's, a copy of TBP and something from my mermaid collection. We'll be doing one informative speech, one persuasive speech, and the final speech can be either one. I'm already planning to do my informative one on Frida Kahlo and my final on Tribal bellydance. Not sure about the persuasive one; probably will do something like why gay marriage should be legalized. I hate to admit it, but I think this class is actually going to be kind of fun... Algebra class went pretty well too, surprisingly enough. Today is writing class; it's all about writing research papers, so that should be interesting. It's kinda nice going to school in the summer; it's not nearly as crowded, no huge lines at the bookstore, relatively easy to get a parking space. Just wait til fall, though...
Best get going on my speech, so I leave you with your Wilde quote for the day:
Sentiment is all very well for a boutonniere, but a well-tied tie is the first serious step in life.

I figured if I gave out the call I'd get a ring from somebody
I'd love to hear your input on the subject of Mermaids: hard to say xactly where to begin; I've communicated with at least two people, since starting this project, who believed they either were part mer or had a very intense connection with them-- and lots of others for whom the ocean is just very compelling for inexplicable reasons... Would you be one of those folks? Have you read stuff about mermaids? Hmm... not sure even what questions would be good... But would you be interested in sayin some words?
algebra? i hate math. that is why i let my wife handle the bills. i can barely add.
