I did something really, really stupid this afternoon. I accidentally got a big sliver of wood shoved underneath my left little fingernail. I think I got most of it out, but there's still a black spot that might still be some of the splinter or maybe it's blood. It hurts like HELL. I haven't done anything this stupid in a long time. It's not red or swollen or anything, so I think it'll be OK; just need to wait for the nail to grow out. But it still hurts, hurts, HURTS. Please y'all, be careful around splintery wood.

It's probably too late to be telling you this but, for future refrence. If you get blood built up under your finger nail drill a hole in your nail. It will relieve the pressure of the blood and the pain goes away instantly. You have no nerves in your nail so the drill does't cause any pain. just a FYI
