I took a beauty out for coffee and things seemed to go okay, even if the "date" was delayed a day. I asked her out again and got a "not now" response, making me feel odd about asking again... like whether I should or not. It's been too fraking long since I've gone out with anyone and I feel so rusty at this thing...

So, I finished my last drill weekend with this Army National Guard contract. The recruiter wanted me to extend under the Inactive Guard Reserve, which wasn't happening, to keep all my Army time "going" while I wasn't involved with active reserve duty. I currently have no desire to stay in the military, and when my contract ends on the 11th, I think I'll be dancing... Without a contract, there's nothing keeping me for moving out of the country with my civilian employer. To that, I say, "Sweet!"

I'm going to keep my head shaved until March 9th so that way I can let my hair grow out until my birthday in October. It's on the 9th, so I wanted a few months of growth before deciding on a hairstyle.
I'm getting back into the habit of taking phone calls at work, I hope my stats improve. I'll be looking at other jobs as soon as I hit six weeks back on the phones, hoping to be moving onward and upward at the 'Zon.
