Oi what a year 2011's been. Started out working my tail off to get a regular Wireless position, applied for seven openings for a Leadership spot at Amazon. Made friends, looked to like as if looking liking move, met Miss USA before she was Miss USA (excellent person, btw), thought about extending in the Army (later choosing not too). Other things got worked in there.

Sheesh, Makes you think that for all the hassle one puts in, one also never makes it as far as they like (well, for me that's true--here's hoping 2012 gets it right).

So, like a load of Yanks, I've got my plots and plans for this new year. Sadly, some are the same as last year--getting to France, getting Amazon to hire me for an international job (I like the idea of Ireland's call centre). I'm hoping less of circumstances getting in the way this year blocking my plans for travel.

I'm very happy, all things considered... I had my daughter this year for Christmas break, we baked some cupcakes together, painted miniatures, walked a dog (thanks to some crazy warm spell of weather), watched Doctor Who and looked at getting her involved in the Pathfinder RPG.

Well, Happy New Year's, Twelfth Night, Three King's Day, etc... Here's for a another banner year.
