Make it happen - Vote on November 2nd.
I'm going to the debate watch and rally, and by now you most likely know that I support John Kerry for President in the upcoming election. I just wanted you to know, however, that although I have no problem stating my political viewpoint, I realize that everyone else doesn't feel the same way. The danger that we face now is that record numbers of people are completely ignoring the upcoming election. This isn't one of those things that can be swept under the rug and forgotten. Isn't that how we got ourselves in this situation to begin with? How can we, as responsible Americans, look at all that's going on in the world today (not just in our own country - but all countries) and decide not to participate in our government?
Even if you're not voting for John Kerry, please get out and vote. The right to vote is one of the most important tools that we have as US citizens to make our voices heard and understood. If there are issues that are important to you, now is the time to stand up for what you believe in.
I'm personally making sure that I vote on November 2nd because I don't want another four years of a president whose sole focus is a war that we shouldn't be fighting - not to mention a president who seems unconcerned that he is completely ignoring the domestic agenda. You may not agree with my viewpoint, but either way, you should vote to support your own beliefs and values.
Make the time to get to the polls and cast your vote for the candidates and the issues that you support.
Get informed. Get to the polls. Get heard.

Where ya gonna be at for the debate tonight? I'm dyin to meet some of y'all, but just can't seem to get in synch. I'm headin to the Icehouse. The rally sounds like far too many folks for my mood today.

It's nice to see there's other people out there that aren't busy everyday, from 9-5.
