Had an awesome time at my dad's 60th birthday party tonight. 
I had a little speech all prepared and a song - but it was really tough to keep from crying.
And then my night got even better - a friend of mine called me from a party in LA where he had met my celebrity crush and was standing about a foot away from him. Ee! I know, I'm a dork. But whatever, it's all good.
