good afternoon-esque.

apparently this is self-mutilation week at our house.

almost burned the house down yesterday when i forgot about a bag of popcorn in the microwave.

then i tripped over something on the floor and gashed my left foot.

then this morning i stepped on something else and gashed my right foot.

not my finest weekend ever.

Headed back to Phoenix tonight.

I'm happy - it was a good trip - but I'm sad to leave here.

I've been in Seattle (Tacoma area, actually) for a week now. The weather is great, we're having a good time, and I had an awesome New Year's Eve.

I almost don't want to come back to Phoenix.

Wow. I go away for a while, and I come back, and there's drama. And I'm not involved! (Seriously, folks, just trying to add some levity to the whole situation there.)

I know I haven't updated in a while...there's just nothing much to say right now.

Saw Saved last night on DVD with friends. Someone thought it would be fun to drink every time someone in the movie said "Jesus". Needless to say, I got so drunk I was falling over.

Hahahah.

Saw Coheed and Cambria last night. It was interesting. Lots of 12-year-olds running around...so there wasn't a line for the bar.

It was really really hot inside the Marquee though. Lots of people, no air, and apparently no deodorant for the unwashed masses. Yecch.

I cleaned out my closet earlier (which really should have been done last weekend). I have 3 bags of clothes and shoes to be taken to donate.

Yay productivity.

I've been up since 6 this morning. Things have been really weird lately. Work issues, politics (of course), and now the ex-boyfriend issues.

No, this is not a great day for democracy. In fact, it's just the opposite. There's nothing great about anything when half the country thinks that there's something wrong with its president.
