I have recently signed up for Netflix, and this is clearly the best/worst thing to happen to me. To celebrate, I will now do some one-sentence reviews of those movies and TV shows that stood out from the pack.
Public Enemies: God DAMN, tommyguns are fucking awesome.
Big Fan: Patton Oswalt, proving once again to the world that he rules no matter what he does, plays one of the greatest pathetic characters ever to botch the inevitable dark conclusion to their life's story.
Word Wars: Wow, tournament-level Scrabble players are a lot like Magic: the Gathering dorks.
Bronson: Imagine, if you will, that the Joker was built like Batman, and also British.
Antichrist: Absolutely beautiful and utterly damaging, like a mythical creature that likes to stab you in the head.
Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson: The man, the myth, the dignified and understandable suicide.
Daniel Tosh: Completely Serious: I've never really taken the time to appreciate how unique this dude is.
Rescue Me season 5: This show is pure, undistilled man's man east coast chaos, and the finale was one motherfucker of a cliffhanger.
The catching up continues. Up next in the queue: The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, The Road, Moon, True Blood season 2, Breaking Bad...
Also, comic book reviews are on the way.
Also also, San Diego Comic Con can kiss my ass for booting the Suicide Girls. See you folks at NYCC!

I just found out Rocko's Modern Life is on there... guess I'll be holed up for a while.
I've had The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus lying around here somewhere for ages, just forgot to actually watch it. Adding Word Wars and Gonzo to my to-watch-list, now!
