Just once I'd love to see a Zelda game where women's empowerment has swept the land of Hyrule. You prepare for your epic quest to purge the land of evil only to discover that the princess has already taken matters into her own hands by simply stabbing Ganon while his back was turned. Everybody wins-the people's confidence in their monarchy skyrockets, ushering in a new age of peace and prosperity, and the patriarchy gets to go back to doing what it does best-terrorizing animals and breaking into people's homes and smashing their pottery to see what's stashed in it.
