Well it's the weekend before the July 4th holiday and a heat wave has descended over the city. It's going to be in the 90s F with the humidity in the tropical range. Good weekend to be on a lake, in a pool or sitting inside enjoying the air conditioner!!!

Happy Cinco De Mayo to all who celebrate this day. It's a pretty big deal around here because there's a fairly large Hispanic community across the river in St. Paul,MN. Always a good time and I love the food.

It was 70F degrees on Monday 04/08/19. The sky was clear blue and the sun was shining brightly. Well today 04/11/19 is a completely different story!! To add a nasty insult to an already disastrous mess, we just got a bunch of rain yesterday. Because of all the snow and ice clogging the storm drains there were small "lakes" on every corner. This has been the snowiest February ever at 40 inches. This smashed the old record which was 28 inches and that's since 1875 when they started keeping records.
