So where do i start off?? well, to begin with it was GREAT to spent 6 days with Corrie out here! we had an amazing time together, actually getting to do those silly little things that couples get to do: go out to the movies, dine together, sleep in (at least once)... it was great! although, i am going thru a major sex withdrawl right about now 
x-fest was fun. i ran intovectrexxx at one point backstage. he was driving saliva all around that day. it was a cool surprise to see him! i did not run into anyone else from the site, tho i know that annie said she was going to be there, but i did not see her.
things for me were, as they usually are, totally hectic. did the broadcast thing from noon to 6, interviewed a bunch of the bands, did stage announcements, ran around and didnt get to have my first beer till, like, 6pm
we had a record turn out (over 16,000) and the crowd was really well behaved, surprisingly!! no real big incidents or injuries that i have been made aware of as of yet. although, i did witness one nasty little thing.... my buddy sean is the lead singer from smile empty soul. he was puking blood RIGHT BEFORE his band was to take the stage
i mean, out the mouth and nose. fucking nasty... so, he finishes, looks at me and goes, "thats what too much drinking does to you" and then comes out to play. THAT is FUCKING ROCK!!!!!!
after the gig we all went out to one of the hotels that the bands were staying at and hit the bar pretty hard. we were there with the guys from puddle of mudd, smile empty soul, my friends from shinedown, and assorted friends and slutty groupies.. it was good times, as far as i can remember.
my boss forgot to tell me that i had a room in the hotel until about 11pm, so i was totally without a change of clothes or anything, but it was all good because corrie and i did not have to wait for the drive home!!
i was up till about 2, woke up at 5 and was on the air by 6 (such is my life) on monday. did a half-assed show, picked corrie up at the hotel, went home, had sex 3 times and dropped her off at the airport at around 6pm on monday
all in all it was a good time. now, however, it is back to "normal" for me. working working working and trying to find a new job. i am starting the search in ernest today. i heard there may be a position open at a station in Manchester, NH which would be cool. i am going to look into it.... we will see what happens. it is time for me to leave ohio!!!
