I have been trying to shoot sets with hopefuls and SGs during and even before joining. I wanna say wtf that is all.
The fact that I'm a huge fan of SG and have been for YEARS, and I own a camera and I'm an LA photographer and can't even work with a hopeful is daunting. I don't get it. I've posted similar posts, but it gets me every time.
You wanna know what's the most frustrating thing about being a photographer. It's questioning whether your good enough. Constantly evaluating your skill, and place in the world. For me for an amazing set we need a great Photography (good light no flash please). A beautiful place even if sometimes the girl is amazing and you don't care about the place XD. I like when the girls smile and look at the camera when you can see that it was fun to shoot.
