Zeus died yesterday morning.
SPOILERS! (Click to view)Only four days ago did we learn he had severe kidney failure. It was quite sudden and he didn't display any discomfort until the last 36 hours. He was always a tough bastard like that. Early in his life, he ran after a pack of coyote and a half hour later, walked back in the house like nothing happened. He sat next to me with the goofiest look on his face. So I rubbed his head and it felt awfully wet... looked at my hand and it was deep red. Turns out he nearly split his left ear in two.
No pain. No fear. All smiles.
That dog was insane, but he was
my kind of insane. He tried to do everything I could, despite his obviously different anatomy. If I was gonna scale a mountain, he had to do it too (& did). Swimming in the Truckee River against the current? Why not! Chilling with sea lions? OK THEN! Zeus didn't exactly turn out how I expected but it made the last 15 years of my life all the more exciting and surprising. He was my greatest friend.
Thanks, Oldie.
I appreciate all the condolences and sympathies from those who knew before now.
Not to be a complete downer, I've made tentative plans to shoot for SG.
Of course... OF COURSE my friends who want to collaborate are out of state!
Hopefully between August and October (i know, so far down the road) I'll have something up you, the ladies and I can be proud of.
It's not that my boobies need support, it's just that I need to deceive the world into thinking that I have something under my t-shirts and tops. They're small enough to literally disappear under any kind of fabric, so some padding is needed.
What road trips have you got planned?
