It's been nearly a week since I arrived in Seattle.
Might as well write about it now!

Day .25 of The Northwestern Hootenanny!
It's recommended you play this - Stars: Your Ex-Lover Is Dead as you scan through this entry. Each day I was there pretty much has its own song. I'm a cornball like that. ANYWAYS.
As I wrote in the last blog, I decided at the last minute to drive up rather than fly, which wasn't as difficult as one may believe. I got there in the mid morning after spending the night with a relative in Oregon and my pal Willow was giddy. To the point that she only txt'd me *bouncebouncebounce* three times in a row. Clearly, to convey her anxiousness and overall excitement in seeing me in a few hours, not the desire to sit on my lap.
Doy. Who wants to do that?!
So I got my room - which is 11 miles away from her place... bleh - cleaned up, changed my clothes, told her I'm on my way and did about 80 in a 60 from Bellevue to metro Seattle. By the grace of God, I found a parking spot during rush hour and we met outside of her work. Again, another Cornball Alert: Willow gives the best hugs, I swear. Since we last saw one another, Will got a job at a law firm in the middle of the city and naturally, she wanted to show me her new digs and introduce me to her co-workers. She has a pretty sweet panoramic view up there...
Then we ran into a few of her workmates and I guess she was already talking about me. "So this is the famous Rex!" uh, sure. We continued along our merry way through the offices and we finally came up to hers...
Apparently, she was excited. That's a wig, btw. I'm certain the higher-ups wouldn't be tolerable of her blue locks.

Alternate song... Stars: Reunion
I wasn't at the office long since the firm was pretty much calling it a day. We drove back to her place to chill and catch up. Our new hobbies and interests... her full love life and my lack of one. It was pretty funny to see all the stuff I gave her over the years; some of it still in its original packaging... heh. It was also during this conversation that Willow convinced me to try Parkour over the weekend. Now THAT will be quite a story. But I don't want to get ahead of myself...
We already made plans to see the midnight showing of Hellboy II (and I could write an entire blog about how DISAPPOINTING it was... 100% pure fale) and I was going to meet some of her new Northwestern friends and they were pretty much awesome. I was bored in line and took a shot of the theatre ceiling...
Very Close Encounters if I do say so myself.
After ranting about how much the movie sucked and could have been way better, we parted ways for the day. It was 2:40am after all, and she still had to go to work (for half the day) in the morning. Willow got a ride with her friends and I drove back to the hotel and passed the fuck out. Friday would be very productive.
